Astralagus Root (Huang Qi) & Codonopsis (Dang Shen) Qi Tonic Restore Vital Energy & Promotes Overall Well-Being Herbal Soup for Qi (Vital Energy) Deficiency – Replenish Your Vital Energy  & Enhance Radiant Glow

Astragalus and Codonopsis Herbal Soup is a gentle, warming tonic formulated to replenish both Qi and Yin, helping restore vitality and balance amid a busy lifestyle. Suitable for Qi deficiency marked by easy fatigue, excessive sweating, pale complexion, and a weak voice, it supports recovery, fortifies Qi, promotes radiance, and maintains long-term wellness for all genders. It is ideal for fatigue, poor sleep, and general depletion.

As a classic tonic for strength and Qi-blood nourishment, it tonifies Qi, consolidates the exterior, strengthens the Spleen, benefits the Lungs, and boosts immunity. It is especially suited to Qi deficiency with fatigue, weakness, or recovery from illness or childbirth.

Fatigue may be a real signal from the body. When tiredness is not relieved by rest and comes with shortness of breath, low speaking energy, dry mouth, irritability, or low spirits, Traditional Chinese Medicine may view it as Qi and Yin deficiency—Qi deficiency causing low energy and mental fatigue, while Yin deficiency causes dryness, internal heat, and irritability. With herbs that replenish Qi, strengthen the Spleen, nourish Yin, and moisten dryness, this soup supports daily energy, mental clarity, lung and spleen wellness, and overall constitution—a daily choice for restoring vitality and maintaining balance.

The Essence of the Brew

The preparation is a slow, patient process. The ingredients are simmered gently for 1 to 1.5hours, allowing the essence of the herbs to fully infuse into the broth / soup. The result is a deeply aromatic, savoury and subtly sweet.

The herbs are always simmered with a meat, commonly pork ribs or chicken, to create a nourishing broth.

【Non-Vegan Soup】– Pair with chicken / pork ribs / pork bones / lean pork (chunks) / meat bone for a rich and nourishing soup.

【Vegan Soup】 – meat-free soup –  Pair with corn / shiitake mushroom / etc, for a light, naturally sweet vegan soup.

Preparation

Mini Pack : 1-2 servings
· Rinse all ingredients and set the Goji Berries aside. Add them to a pot with blanched pork ribs or chicken. Cover with water 900ml – 1000ml, bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Add the Goji Berries in the last 10 minutes. Add Salt to taste and serve.
