Peanut Root Promote Healthy Growth Herbal Soup — drink as part of your child’s daily wellness routine.

Nourishing Growth at Every Stage – strengthen the spleen and stomach, support nutrient absorption, and promote healthy growth and bone development

For Kidney and Spleen deficiency. As a spleen-strengthening, appetite-stimulating tonic soup, it helps improve digestion and absorption, enhance physical fitness and immunity, and provide a good physical foundation for a child’s healthy growth.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), healthy growth and development are closely linked to ample Kidney Qi, strong spleen and stomach function, and efficient nutrient absorption.

TCM holds that the kidneys support bone development, while the spleen and stomach help transform food into Qi and blood. When Qi is abundant and digestion is strong, the body can better absorb and transport nutrients to support healthy growth, immunity, and physical strength.

Nutrition plays an essential role in early height development and overall growth potential.

Ages 7–18 : This is a critical stage of rapid growth, making proper nutritional support especially important.

Who Is This Soup For ?

  • Children aged 7 and above
  • Bone development stage requiring Qi replenishment and body nourishment
  • Teenagers going through puberty who need healthy growth support
  • Poor appetite, weak body constitution, easy fatigue, or poor nutrient absorption
  • High physical activity levels requiring additional energy and nutritional support

Ingredients
Peanut Root (Hua Sheng Gen), Peanut (Hua Sheng), Polygonatum Odoratum (Yu Zhu), Dried Chinese Yam (Shan Yao), Dried Longan (Gui Yuan), Honey Dates (Mi Zao) & Goji Berry (Gou Qi).

Health Benefits

Strengthen the spleen and stomach, support nutrient absorption, nourish the kidneys, thereby support health growth and bone development.

· Bone Growth & Development : The primary traditional use. It is believed to nourish Kidney Essence (which governs bones) and strengthen the Spleen (which governs muscles), supporting healthy growth in children and teenagers.
· Digestive Support : Aids Spleen function, helping with poor appetite, bloating, and loose stools.

(In TCM, peanut root (Arachis hypogaea root) is considered neutral in nature and is used to support the body’s foundational energies).

Recommended Usage
Ages 7 – 12 : Consume 2 – 3 times a week.
Ages 13 and above : Consume 3 – 4 times a week.

Reminder

Please regard it as a supportive food-therapy soup for regulation, not a “miracle height-growth medicinal soup.” Ensuring that children have a balanced diet, adequate sleep and appropriate exercise is fundamental to promoting height and growth. This soup is a good choice as a daily regulating soup, but if a child’s height is clearly behind that of peers, it is advisable to consult a pediatrician or endocrinologist promptly.

The Essence of the Brew

The preparation is a slow, patient process. The ingredients are simmered gently allowing the essence of the herbs to fully infuse into the broth / soup. The result is a deeply aromatic, savoury and subtly sweet.

The herbs are always simmered with a meat, commonly pork ribs or chicken, to create a nourishing broth.

【Non-Vegan Soup】– Pair with chicken / pork ribs / pork bones / lean pork (chunks) / meat bone for a rich and nourishing soup.

【Vegan Soup】 – meat-free soup –  Pair with corn / shiitake mushroom / etc, for a light, naturally sweet vegan soup.

Preparation

Rinse and soak the peanut roots for at least 2 hours. This softens them and allows you to thoroughly wash away grit and soil.

Mini Pack : 1-2 servings
· Rinse all ingredients and set the Goji Berries aside. Add them to a pot with blanched pork ribs or chicken. Cover with water 900ml – 1000ml, bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Add the Goji Berries in the last 10 minutes. Add Salt to taste and serve.

Regular Pack : 2-3 servings
· Rinse all ingredients and set the Goji Berries aside. Add them to a pot with blanched pork ribs or chicken. Cover with water 2000ml, bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 2 to 2.5 hours. Add the Goji Berries in the last 10 minutes. Add Salt to taste and serve.

Tips :
· Always blanch the chicken/ribs in boiling water first to remove scum, ensuring a clear broth.
· Add the Goji berries only in the last 15 minutes to preserve their nutrients.

How to Blanch meat / bone
Blanching meat removes impurities like blood and protein scum, giving you a clearer, cleaner-tasting soup. Here’s how :

· Cut the chicken / pork ribs / lean pork (chunks) / meat bone, etc into pieces. Rinse and Blanch in a pot of cold water with ginger slices (optional). Then rinse clean and set aside.
