Chrysanthemum & Licorice Soothing Herbal Tea
This cooling botanical blend is formulated to expel internal heat, detoxify the system, and calm inflammation—helping to clear stubborn breakouts while soothing sore, red throats. It relieves tired, strained eyes, melts away fatigue, and offers a refreshing defense against oppressive summer heat.
Best used for External Wind-Heat or Toxic Heat Accumulation, this formula reduces swelling and redness. It is indicated for swollen sore throats, acute conjunctivitis, pus-filled acne, mild colds with yellow phlegm, and swollen, tender gums.

Precaution
Cooling teas are not for everyone. Do not give to infants/toddlers without a practitioner’s advice .
· It should not be consumed if you have a cold, flu, cough, cold body constitution, a weak, cold spleen/stomach, women during menstruation and during a wind-cold type cold (exterior cold syndrome).
· Drinking too much overly chilled herbal tea in the refrigerator may trigger a cold-related cough (as it may become too cooling in nature)
· Avoid during menstruating.
· Pregnancy : Pregnant women should consult a healthcare professional before consuming herbal tea.

Cooking Instructions
1. Rinse the herbal ingredients thoroughly.
2. Add all the ingredients into a pot. Cover with water 2000ml, bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 40 minutes to 1 hour.
3. Strain out all the herbs using a sieve, add a little rock sugar or honey to taste (Optional), according to your preference.
Tips
• The leftover herbs can be re-boiled for a second round.
• If you prefer a stronger brew, use less water – it’ll be more concentrated and the effects will be amplified.
• Do not shorten the boiling time – letting it simmer for the full duration is key to drawing out all the flavors and benefits.
• Strain – enjoy it hot or chilled, both are fantastic!
