Ingredients
Chrysanthemum (ju hua), American Ginseng root (yang shen xu) and Licorice (gan cao).

• Chrysanthemum Flower (Ju Hua) – Clears heat, calms the liver, brightens the eyes, and relieves wind-heat.
• American Ginseng Tassel / Root (Yang Shen Xu) – Nourishes yin, clears heat, boosts energy, and relieves fatigue.
• Licorice Root (Gan Cao) – Reduce inflammation, clears heat, and relieves sore throat.
Precaution
Cooling teas are not for everyone. Do not give to infants/toddlers without a practitioner’s advice .
· It should not be consumed if you have a cold, flu, cough, cold body constitution, a weak, cold spleen/stomach, women during menstruation and during a wind-cold type cold (exterior cold syndrome).
· Drinking too much overly chilled herbal tea in the refrigerator may trigger a cold-related cough (as it may become too cooling in nature)
· Avoid during menstruating.
· Pregnancy : Pregnant women should consult a healthcare professional before consuming herbal tea.

Cooking Instructions
1. Rinse the herbal ingredients thoroughly.
2. Add all the ingredients into a pot. Cover with water 1500ml, bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 40 minutes.
3. Strain out all the herbs using a sieve, add a little rock sugar or honey to taste (Optional), according to your preference.
Tips
• The leftover herbs can be re-boiled for a second round.
• If you prefer a stronger brew, use less water – it’ll be more concentrated and the effects will be amplified.
• Do not shorten the boiling time – letting it simmer for the full duration is key to drawing out all the flavors and benefits.
• Strain – enjoy it hot or chilled, both are fantastic!
